Presidential Election 2008

Updated On: Sep 29, 2008 (16:32:00)

This will be a very interesting and exciting election - but it is important to understand the ISSUES and not base decisions on he said-she said or personalities of candidates.

Economic times are hard for everyone right now -  but no one is hurting more than our senior citizens who are living on a fixed income and in many cases do not have wiggle room. It is important that we elect a President and a Congress that keeps this very much in mind - that worries about Social SECURITY (not being endangered by stock market fluctuations), Medicare Part D being administered in a not-for-profit atmosphere, Healthcare becoming a program for everyone with coverage that is quality, affordable, portable so one can change jobs or make other life decisions.
